"Las Vegas RV Club Christmas Party
The Original Las Vegas Rolling Wheels RV Club ushered in the Holiday Season with
a Dinner Party on December 19th, at the Towne Center Lounge. The members were decked
out in holiday attire, in an atmosphere of Christmas, among the beautiful decorations provided by Towne Center, surrounded by the many presents brought for the annual gift exchange. The evening was highlighted by a delicious buffet meal of salmon in lemon sauce, chicken marinara, veggies, pasta and tossed salad, topped off with cheese cake and sweet potato pie for desert. Each couple brought a wrapped gift and Rolling Wheels members’ lucky ticket numbers entitled them to “choose a gift” from under the tree that they set their sights on. Ticket numbers were called by the President, and the gifts were chosen until every gift was gone. Al & Myrtle O’Neal brought “stone soul music” for listening, reminiscing and dancing pleasure. The evening was enjoyed by all.
Special contributions by all members, made it possible for the club to donate money to the Salvation Army’s annual fund drive, which provided Christmas Dinner for three needy families in the Las Vegas area.
Members present included: President Lee Carr & LaVerne Carr, Melvin & Luria Walker,
